    1. Wow! And Thank You!!! Gosh. She truly painted herself. It was bizarre and quite an experience. I had envisioned her sitting at a small cafe on the street in Paris with her owl sitting across the table. They were going to be sipping wine and laughing. Not so much. This is what came out! I went along for the ride. You are so kind and Your comment makes me smile because I am absolutely crazy about Your art!!! Cheers! 🙂

    1. WOW! Thank You SOOOO Much! Gosh. Such kindness. I am so happy You like her. She was very fun to journey with and her expression surprised me. At first I thought she’d be laughing….then I thought she was going to be stern….the almost crying smile just came….I think from her. Cowrazy. Cheers!!! 🙂

    1. Hey! Thank You, Eduardo!!! Yeah…me too….You know, I’ve no idea. I always think of her being not certain whether to laugh or cry. I painted her about 4 years ago….and as the years pass, it does seem more like a sweet tearing up. I like the shoes too! It’s funny. When the idea to paint Athena and her owl came to me, he was always wearing those shoes. I haven’t a clue why. 😄
