  1. This is absolutely lovely!! Palm’s branches dance like soft hair in the wind. 💖🌼☀
The dark blue color goes so well with the green while the lighthouse and the moon are the highlights!! 💖🌼☀🌸 🤗

    1. Thank You, Elaine!!! Yeah….they are SOOO fun. I play with all of them but particularly like the water and diffuse blenders. Man…..in FX as well there are some crazy cool ways to blend. After all these years I’m still exploring and getting surprised very often by what I find and how it works. It’s interesting to see how things work differently when mixed with different mediums as well. Cheers!!! 🙂

  2. Magical atmosphere Katy! The dark-blue (sky) is perfectly compatible with shining white (moon). What a dream to have the childhood home in a tower . I wonder what the little girl was thinking (or dreaming) when she woke up in the midnight, feeling the wind blowing gently, watching the treets moving from side to side, back and forth… beautiful painting and beautiful words Katy 😊🌟💖

    1. Wow, Isabelle!!! Thank You! Beautiful words from YOU! Love that so much!!! This is one of the very few paintings that I’ve ever done that is actually literal. It’s the lighthouse where I grew up and live now. I painted it because now I’m selling t-shirts,prints and cards of it. Very exciting. But….GOD!!! I LOVEEEE Your thoughts. Makes me want to write a story and use this as an illustration. About a little girl who lives there…I’m serious. I think You just lit a fire in my little creative room! THANK YOU and Cheers! If/when I write this (I pretty sure I will!) the little girl will be named Isabelle! Yay!!! 💖🤗☀️🌸

      1. Thank you for the thoughtful words Katy. It warms the heart. Lighthouse always fascinates me, a tall building near the coast with a flashing light on the top. What a magical scene at night. The sound of waves, the darkness and the flashing light which strangely gives some comfort and warmth – you’re not alone, no worries, you’re guarded. I agree with you Katy, it will make a good story, no matter who the protagonist is. Katy or Isabelle. Thank you. 💖😊🌟🌸
