free-flow art/haikus

the bed we made

27½” x 27½” (70cm x 70cm) acrylic on reclaimed matting & wallpaper in reclaimed wooden frame/glass. Before I started painting, the wallpaper was just a photo of a brown fence. I whitewashed it, re-added detail and painted the flowers on it. The outer matting was light brown. The inner square was a very dark maroon/forest green and silver foil swirl and the inner circle was dark brown. Please pardon the reflections in glass! 😄

  1. We can’t get enough flowers, can we? Especially as we’re already approaching the autumn in Norway 😊 It’s a good reminder of the wonderful summer we’ve had this year. More flowers please. Hugs and hugs coming your way Katy! 🌸💜🌟
