our hearts hold golden

infinite rooms of wonder

each door we open

is a sacred choice

time doesn’t care how it’s spent…

long pocketed words

drip through yesterdays

painting enigmatic scenes

that just don’t matter

  1. Thank You! and WOW!!! How wonderful that You visit there often! I can’t imagine how overwhelmingly beautiful it must be!!! I love turtles as well and painted some on necklaces years ago but that was short lived. I may revisit someday. I live on an island and think now and again it may be wise to paint islandy things as they sell much for other artists who live here….but every time I start something else pops out. 🤣 It’s amazing I completed the lighthouse!!! Cheers and happy traveling!!! ❤️☀️

  2. I’m so sorry to hear that.
Just last week I was rocked by this news, my grandma’s friend, who I’d often find my grandma’s place passed away. Nobody was ready for that. But such is life.

    1. Geez. I’m so sorry to hear Your news as well. Life is so strange, isn’t it? So very beautiful but wow there are such peculiar twists and turns here and there. My heart goes out to Your Grandma. I am so sorry for Y’alls loss. ❤️❤️❤️

  4. Heeeeeeey. I missed you so much dear Katy. I really hope you and Bill are doing great. I’m thinking of all of those conversations we had and smiling now. Even I can’t tell how much it means and and how much I missed those. Sending you lots of love. Can’t wait to hear from you. 🙂 🙂

        1. Thank You, Ankit!!! And, yes. A little sad but a billion layers of sweetness too. About a very dear one who’s mentally ill and no longer “here”. Such a peculiar experience. Sending HUGE hugs Your way. Will be by soon to see what You’re up to! Running behind as usual. Shocking, I know. 🤣💖🤗🙏🏼🌻

    1. Ah man, Aimer!!! Smiling so big right now!!! This is what I absolutely LOVE about art/expressionism in all forms. With what I was thinking about/processing, that last line was completely liberating, peaceful and joyful but I can COMPLETELY see how from a different angle it sounds hopeless and depressing. Wow. Love, love, love that!!! Thank You for this reminder! Sending huge hugs Your way! Cheers!!! 😄💕😊

    1. Oh, Peter!!! YES! I think I just may take You up on that! Those were all very happy accidents. I did notice the baby right before I posted and got a great chuckle; but was in a contemplative mood and didn’t stop to see what else might be there! How very fun! Thank You so much for pointing this out!!! How happy. Huge hugs and Cheers!!! 🤗💖😊
