  1. I love this reclaimed pottery idea. Good thing I don’t know how to do it myself or I’d being going around breaking things just to “reclaim” them 🙂

    I love this piece, but I can’t tell…Is it still a bowl?

    1. It’s actually wood. I forgot to mention that! 😅 It’s a beautiful teakwood hand carved bowl that we sell in the shop I work at (for only 16 more days then art full time! Yay!!!). It arrived broken in half as shown. The sweet lady I work for knows I love to reclaim things to paint on and she was going to toss it if I didn’t want it. I painted it, wired it together on either side and made it so it can hang on the wall. It looks really cool! And I hear You about the broken pottery thing! There is a woman I used to know who made an entire garden space that was out-of-this-world beautiful by making all there mosaiced with concrete and broken bits of pottery. Crazy pretty. I understand the temptation!!! 😄💖😊
