crumblin' down

i can be really good at building walls

perhaps we all are

i figured/hoped/prayed that with age i’d stop trying

sometimes, still, up they rise

but the super fantastic thing is that

nowadays i seem to forget to truly fortify

and when sweet Love shows up ready to blast them down

which is what always eventually happens anyway

instead of fighting the process and creating useless drama

i stand in the rubble with much gratitude

and offer Love a glass of wine and a hug

    1. Right?!! I crack up sometimes thinking I’m being so openhearted or receptive or whatever and then realize….oh crap! I’m doing it again. Walls come in so many intentions, shapes and sizes. We’re crafty critters!!! 🤣And if we ever see happen to meet in person, a glass of wine and a hug are Yours! Cheers, Peter!!! 🤗❤️🍷🌀😊

  1. Katy,
This is so true. We all are great architects on building walls. But what you say its true.
Love, kidness, compassion make a wall into a soft wall. And eventually with time, there are no walls anymore, just pure love.
This poem is so beautiful and so true. Thank you so much. A cheers to you ❤🌸
