sun is falling

momma’s calling

ocean’s running wild

waves still breaking

body’s racing

i can only smile

just one more

OH PLEASE!!! one more

and then we will be through!

seagulls jeering

 surf’s loudly cheering

WHAT mom? I can’t hear you!!!

    1. Ahhhh!!! LOVING that, Isabelle! Thank You!!! I sure hope Y’all are able to go to Greece next year! I think there needs to be a technology…a museum of sorts would be really cool…where we could litearally step into a painting and be teletransported to the place that it specifically took us in our minds/hearts!!! 🤗❤️💕🌊😊

      1. Oh your idea blew my mind away!! How wonderful it would be to have a museum like the one you pictured here. I guess I’ll be very busy entering one painting after another. You’ve got a whole set of scenarios I’d love to be a part of…😍🙃🤩 You’re truly a creative soul, Katy! 🎈💕✨

        1. If that ever comes to pass, I’ll join You for a day in the uber cool transpo-Museum! And I’m honoured that You’d like to romp around in some of my paintings! That WOULD be sooo fun! It could happen….someday!!! 🤣😀❤️🤗💕

    1. Me too, Aimer!!! I just wish I looked like that at the beach! I’ve always marvelled at women who pull off a lovely beach “look”. I turn into a big, wet, covered in sand with a mass of tangly hair such and such. But I do don a HUGE smile!!!! 🤣🤗❤️😊 Cowabunga!!! 🌊

  1. Mom’s lips are too full. I see Botox there. 😀 Otherwise, I like the estival feeling of the painting. Oh, how I wish I were by the sea. I also like the poem. I can almost see the kid having fun in the waves. 🙂

    1. 😅 You always make me laugh, Jo! Thank You!!! She’s a natural beauty!!! I’m so happy You like the feel and poem! I grew up playing in the ocean and we would totally do that; act like we couldn’t hear anyone calling us out-even the lifeguard once. Got in a bit of trouble for that one! 🤣

      1. So you were a bit of a Tom Sawyer in childhood. 🙂 Good for you. I was the best kid ever, listened to my parents, good grades etc. and now I’m a loser. Oh, well! 😀 Don’t feel sorry for me, though. I’m a happy loser. 🙂

        1. OH! I seriously doubt You’re a loser!!! You’re wonderful! And I’m glad You’re happy! Yeah…I had a little dose of Tom Sawyer in me…but not much as my mother would literally have killed me! 🤣 Mostly decent grades too, although my mom didn’t really care about that as long as we did our best. No drinking or such. Total good girl was I….just don’t try to get me out of the ocean, damnit!!! I’m still a fish. 😅 But my mom and her friends used to drink “bullfrogs” on the beach. Vodka with lime juice. 🤣 So they were generally pretty silly and most often liked to stay as long as us kids did. Laughing. Ahhhh. I hope You have a wonderful day, Jo! Huge hugs Your way!!! ❤️❤️❤️
