the other one

the yellow brick road has a cousin

a third cousin thrice removed, i think

infinities ago it drank love tea

brewed up in the Universe’s sink

the twists that it takes are astounding

Divine, funny and true

we walk in our hearts with our souls singing clear

and so often i bump into You!

  1. So we’re keeping the trippin’ theme. Trippin’ as in traveling, of course. 😀 Your stream of consciousness appeals to me and I often find myself meeting you half way on the cerebral highway. Well, I guess that’s a pretentious way of saying we’re kindred spirits. I put it that way to elicit a smile from you. 🙂 Was I successful? 🙂

    1. OH WOW! “…I often find myself meeting you half way on the cerebral highway.” LOVE that, Jo! Not pretentious at all!!! Just delightful! And YES! You gifted me a big fat smile! First one of the day. And I’ll say this form of trippin’ vastly outruns both the substance induced and the moving of our physical bodies. Was thinking heart/soul/psyche journies on every level. And the word ever broadens!!! I hope You have a wonderful day! Huge hugs and Cheers!!! 🤗❤️😊

      1. Well, the highway thing is not my idea. It’s in the definition of stream of consciousness which wasn’t particularly useful until I had to comment upon your painting. 😀 Well, that and long, long time ago, an A in English Literature, by courtesy of Virginia Woolf. 🙂

        1. WOW!!! .”..an A in English Literature, by courtesy of Virgia Woolf?!!” Ok. That’s AWESOME! And I’ve thought this before, but I think You and lovely Isabelle over at https://isabellesthoughts.com would truly enjoy one another as well. She’s become such a dear friend also….and English Literature is her PASSION, LOVE, BLISS!!! She loves words and the English language like the sky loves clouds! She speaks of Virginia Woolf now and again. Smiling big! You’re a cool kid with uber amazing brains! 😃❤️😊
