the last sentence

our words are confused ghosts

that blow away on the breath of Life

all that remains are our fragile shells of ideas

it’s a precious gift

when Love shakes us gently

and scatters them like wishes far too small for

who we truly are

    1. Oh! Thank You so very much for Your sweet words, Nathi!!! And Yay! Dandelions are exactly what I had in mind and the feeling I was aiming for. We just love them and have areas of our yard where we let them run wild. Makes us happy and keeps the neighbours laughing. 🤣 Cheers and Hugs!!! 🤗❤️😊

  1. Hi katy, hope you guys are doing well. We had out power out for four days here in new York City because of the Hurricane . Love this post and the paintings as well. No big travel going on still because of the virus from hell . Lots of little day trips in the city , Queens and especially Long Island which I love . Take care, keep those haiku coming.

    1. JO ANN!!! Hey! I have been thinking about You and meaning to stop by Your blog to check in and say Hello! But it’s always at random times like driving to the store or putting the wash in the dryer….and then I forget. I cannot believe the relentlessness of what Y’all are going through! Crazy. Hadn’t even thought about the ramifications of the storm on Manhattan. Damn. One thing after the other. Power out for 4 days. That’s no fun!!! Lord! I’m so sorry! We went without for a week due to a Hurricane a few years ago…it sucks. Especially in the summer. And it’s got to be compounded living in a city. Can’t even imagine. My heart goes out to You….to all New Yorkers. Enough already! I send You much Love whenever You cross my mind. Thank You for Your sweet words about this post! Yay!!! I’m happy You like it!!! LOVING that You’re doing lots of little day trips! You’re an inspiration. I never made it over to Queens or Long Island the times I was in New York. Someday. HUGE hugs to You!!! I’ll be by soon to see what You’ve been up to! Hang in there and Thanks for dropping by!!! 🤗❤️😊

      1. Hi Katy. I don’t know what New York City did to piss off mother nature, but she’s mad at us for something, lol. I’m actually in Queens, on the long Island border, so that’s why it doesn’t take that long to get there as opposed to the city. I’m liking the day trips too. How are you guys doing in Georgia? WordPress has changed so much that some folks are telling me that I have no place for people to comment. Gotta look into that. Take care, hugs! More day trip 30 plus teams tours coming up, God willing.

        1. I SHOULD HAVE REMEMBERED YOU WERE IN QUEENS!!! I knew that! For some reason I always place You in Manhattan in my mind. My apologies! Yeah….You New Yorkers are due a break on every level…FOR SURE!!! Things are going alright here, Thank You! I’m so grateful to be in the boondocks. The rush of tourists this summer raised the virus a bit. Georgia’s right behind New York in case numbers. But it’s started to go down last week. YAY!!! And our little county’s bopping along ok. In our neighborhood that storm took out about 5 big trees and 3 fell on power lines, so no power for 24 hours…but that’s par for the course here. It’s odd when that DOESN’T happen!!! My sweet man finally bought a generator last tropical storm and WOW! That made the days without power soooooo much better! Fridge and fans and water could stay on. Hoping the people of Louisianna and Texas are doing ok with storm that just hit them….haven’t seen the news yet today. Sigh. I’ll bop over to Your lovely site right now and if I can’t comment I’ll come here and let You know! Praying You can TRAVEL TRAVEL soooooonnnn, Beautiful Lady!!! 🤗❤️🌀💕😊

        2. Ok. No. But it looks like You have a Premium Plan? If so…go to the left corner up top that says “My Site”, then go to “Plan”….somewhere under there, no matter what plan You have I THINK, there should be someway to contact support. They are SOOO helpful….very responsive, friendly, patient and knowledgeable!!! If I’d been able to comment on Your 400 post I would have said:

YAY!!! Congratulations! It’s absolutely our pleasure!!! Rock On, Sports Diva!!! 🤗❤️😊

  2. OMG! The painting is perfect! Love it! The flowers are so delicate. They look like blowballs freshly out from the hairdresser. 🙂 And the pink-blue sky is so pleasing to the eye.

      1. My point was that you painted them with a steady hand. They look perfect just like my hair after I leave my talented hairdresser. 🙂 Have I told you how much I love this painting? Let us know when you sell it and the story of the lucky buyer.

        1. Oh wow, Jo!!! I absolutely love both my first interpretation of Your comment and the explanation here! Once again You start my day with a HUGE smile! Thank You!!! And I’m soooo happy You love it!!! It’s a digital painting so the original lives in the belly of my computer…but I am planning to add it to my prints and notecards that I sell in my shop. I will definitely let You know when someone buys one! Very fun! Hoping You have a wonderful day!!! ❤️❤️❤️
