crazy fast digital airbrush! Ack! 🤣
Hey Beautiful People! I got banned from commenting on WordPress ALL day yesterday. A lockout that no one at WordPress could figure out. A bummer as yesterday was one of my days off from my part-time day job and I have SOOOO many art project deadlines to meet in getting my art biz flowing; as well as being very behind in blogland visits. Tech help was exceedingly nice, apologetic and eager to help but kept making the same suggestions:
clear your cache, make sure Your cookies are set to unblock, try it on a different device, try another browser, update Your browser, reboot Your wifi, stand on Your head (just kidding!), etc. The problem simply didn’t show up at all on their end.
This all started about 6 in the morning. FINALLY, after literally HOURS of doing everything they suggested and everything I could think of over and over and over again, I wrote tech support one more time. The Lady I got suggested she send me a her personal test page for me to comment on. No one else had tried that. All day. She sent it. I commented and VOILA!!!! She discovered my comment was sent to spam. So she went to work on it. Turns out ASKET, for whatever reason, had decided I was a robot. I’d tried to translate a comment I’d received right before this happened and from the get-go, early in the morning, told tech support I thought I’d been locked out because I did that. I was told that probably wasn’t it. The last lady I chatted with, the one who figured it out, thought perhaps that HAD been the problem but wasn’t sure.
So….learn from my long, kinda wasted day….
Don’t ever copy and paste a comment into the google translator. It will be misunderstood as pirating and cause You a lock out. AND, if You ever do get blocked from commenting, for whatever reason, before anything else ask the tech to please send You THEIR PERSONAL test page for You to comment on. This is very different from when they ask You to comment somewhere and send them the link. I did that straightaway with the first tech and it helped nothing. The problem didn’t show up for her. They have to send You their personal test page and then it’s perhaps easy for them to spot the problem.
In the end, around 12 hours later, I was able to comment. At the start of this leeeetle adventure I was far behind looking at all Y’alls wonderful work! Now I’m farther. But I’m still a fan!!! I’ll be around! Thanks for Your continued support, friendship and patience!!!
Huge hugs and Cheers!!! 🙂
